The new product line from Bright Shoemakers is finally released!
"Handmade In El Salvador" is a range of footwear styles handmade at a skilled 70 year old artisanal family run shoemaker in El Salvador specializing in premium quality true handsewn moccasin construction.
The main focus on the new products (besides looking damn good) is to offer shoes with a next-to-none comfort with an incredible soft wear - even without socks.
The Moccasin construction is one of the oldest methods in the World to make a shoe. It is historically the original footwear of the North American native population as well as hunters, traders and European settlers. The construction consists of upper, quarters and insole in one piece stitched together with a vamp apron on top.
The styles are made with EVA rubber outsoles (rubber infused with air particles) from Vibram, Extralight and a local rubber plant from El Salvador.
Kiltie Moc Loafer is made in premium combination tanned black pull up leather from Mexican tannery Temola and brown fullgrain pull up leather from El Salvador.
The style features perforated vamp pattern detail and traditional kiltie. The shoe is made with contrast natural handsewn moc stitching to highlight the beautiful details of the loafer.
Kiltie Moc Loafer is adjustable in the width when tightening the leather lace (often seen on boat shoes) to get the perfect fit both with - or without socks.
The loafer last fits large, buy your regular boot size or go down a size compared to sneakers.
All our footwear is handmade at an artisinal family run shoemaker in Spain with more than 100 years of experience in proud shoemaking. Uncompromised quality, designed in Denmark by Martin Vestphael.
